Act For Understanding

By implementing the project, we would like to develop the participants' conflict management skills and make it easier for them to resolve different life situations, to experience and better understand situations arising from cultural diversity or where they encounter obstacles, using drama pedagogy and film methods, while strengthening cooperation, self-expression and intercultural sensitivity, as well as developing their digital skills and foreign language skills.

The project includes drama classes, screenwriting and filmmaking workshops, local workshops and peer-to-peer activities, as well as international mobility where students work together on conflict resolution scenarios and short films. Participants act out conflict management scenes found in different life situations, such as Generational Differences and Conflicts, Conflicts in Life, Conflicts at school and Parent-student conflicts. Teachers and students watch numerous theater performances.

As a result of the project, students improve communication, conflict management and digital competences, their selfconfidence and cooperation skills increase. Partner schools acquire innovative pedagogical methods and build lasting professional relationships.
